Our small Bed and Breakfast in Eastern Switzerland may offer just one guest room, but it makes up for it with a generous dose of Swiss hospitality, personal attention, and a warm, home-like atmosphere.

For many guests, another highlight awaits: our co-hosts, the Japanese Akitas Betty and Sumiko. With their gentle nature and charming personalities, they quickly win the hearts of dog lovers and often become one of the most memorable parts of a stay.

    Bedroom

    The spacious bedroom with its high ceiling features a comfortable double bed (140 x 200 cm), a beautifully painted traditional Swiss farmhouse wardrobe, and a cosy seating area.

    The window is fitted with a mosquito screen, and a portable fan is available for warmer summer days and nights.

    After a day exploring the Toggenburg region or enjoying your hiking holidays, unwind on our garden lounge or enjoy dinner at one of the rural restaurants nearby.

    Your Newly Renovated Private Bathroom

    Just a few steps from the bedroom, you'll find your private guest bathroom, newly renovated in March 2026 and reserved exclusively for your use throughout your stay.

    Featuring a spacious walk-in shower with an additional rainfall showerhead, a modern vanity, and dimmable lighting, the bathroom offers a touch of spa-like comfort, whether you're starting your day or winding down in the evening.

    For added convenience, a separate toilet and washbasin are located right next to the bedroom.

Nightly Rates

  • January–April and October–December (excluding public holidays and special event periods)

    • Room only: CHF 98.00 per night

      Bed & Breakfast: CHF 128.00 per night

      Visitor tax included

  • May–September, Easter, Christmas & New Year, and the evening before the Old New Year's Eve *

    • Room only: CHF 113.00 per night

    • Bed & Breakfast: CHF 143.00 per night

    Visitor tax included.

    *The Old New Year's Eve celebrations take place annually on 13 January in the Appenzell and Toggenburg regions - except when the 13th January falls on a sunday, then it will all happen on the 12th, so the high season charge applies to the night from the 11th to the 12th january.

The B&B room is available primarily from Thursday evening to Sunday morning.

Room Features

You will be staying in the only guest room of this small and welcoming B&B. The room is complemented by a private half-bathroom (toilet and washbasin) located right next door, while your private shower room, fully renovated in March 2026, is situated on the floor below and reserved exclusively for your use.

Access, Accessibility & Parking

The guest room is located on the first floor. Please note that the house is not wheelchair accessible and does not have a lift/elevator.

Check-in and check-out are conducted in person. A complimentary parking space is available on the private road adjacent to the property.

Pets

As Betty and Sumiko, our resident Japanese Akitas, share the property, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate guest pets in the B&B.
